Niamh has over 20 years experience in Speech and Language Therapy
She qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist with a Master of Science from University College London in 1998 and since then has worked in public and private practice settings in the UK, USA, Malaysia, Korea and Hungary. Niamh has just returned from the US to take up residence in Ireland.
Niamh has experience working with a wide range of paediatric speech, language and communication needs including Early Intervention, Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), Developmental Verbal Dyspraxia (DVD), ASD, intellectual disability, stammering and extensive experience working with school aged children and adolescents with language impairments.
Niamh is Hanen and Elkan trained and has experience running speech and language workshops for parents, teachers and special needs assistants. She has completed the first Lamh module.
She is a member of American Speech Hearing Association, the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists and (the IASLT) and is registered with CORU.
